This 1940’s home had been insensitively added to over time. By removing unnecessary additions and stripping the interior back we created a large living space including a kitchen, with a higher ceiling line, supported by a pair of recycled timber beams that add a rustic touch to the white interior. We also created a wide verandah overlooking the view, reminiscent of a colonial style beach house. Upstairs a number of small rooms punctuated by a complicated roof-line were converted to a generous master suite and a second bedroom.
