Perched on the very top of the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this home has recently had a major renovation. The concepts for the interior spaces, selection of materials and furniture were executed by the Hare + Klein team, documentation by BSA.
It’s stunning position presented both challenges, in terms of the harsh environment – and opportunities, to take advantage of the magnificent views. The vast double volume living room presented the biggest challenge – to create a warm and comfortable multipurpose room with three focal points – the view, fireplace and TV. This involved a complex floor-plan and an array of textures and furnishings that deliver a cohesive functional and comfortable room.
