The Healthy Food Company, owners of Nourish in Avalon have opened a new cafe in Mosman – Bloom Cafe. Their whole philosophy about food – which lies at the heart of their business – is that it should be healthy, organic (where possible) and fresh. Their brief was to ensure that this was represented in the design of the café.

Project lead Victoria, along with Eloise and Melanie worked on bringing this design concept to life creating a space that felt casual, wholesome and reflected the food that is served there. Housed in an old shop with a beautiful original façade and pressed ceilings, the new café borrowed from the history of the space. We worked with recycled timbers, ‘found’ pieces of furniture, natural produce in the displays, and made a feature of the filtered water system.

The finished product is a café with a good vibe that local customers have embraced. Next time you’re in the neighbourhood, drop in and enjoy the fare at 118 Prince Albert St, Mosman NSW 2088.
