Contemporary architecture combined with our temperate climate has made the flow between inside and outside almost seamless. We eat outside, play outside, bath outside and sometimes even sleep outside. Over the last 10 years there has been a renaissance in the design of outdoor furniture. New materials and talented designers have addressed the issues related to outdoor furniture and we have seen wonderful new ranges, shapes, textures and new materials coming onto the market. All this has meant that it is now possible to create comfortable outdoor living spaces, extending the boundaries of a home from the inside out. In creating outdoor rooms, we apply the same principles of comfort, texture, proportion and colour to this domain as we do to interior spaces.
