This château-style residence in South Australia dates to circa 1920, with later additions that reflect its evolving history. Having previously worked with the owners, we were engaged to provide bespoke interior design services for this next chapter of the home.
Defined by generous proportions and strong original architectural detailing, the brief was to create a luxurious yet comfortable interior that could confidently accommodate the owners’ eclectic modern art collection, alongside selected pieces from their former residence. The materials and furniture strategy responded directly to the scale and drama of the architecture, allowing each space to feel balanced and resolved.
The resulting interiors are warm, layered and inviting. A series of richly articulated rooms and sightlines enhance the home’s inherent sense of grandeur, creating a refined residential interior that feels elegant, expressive and enduring.
