Situated on a small peninsula at the edge of Sydney Harbour, this newly built home makes a confident architectural statement within an exceptional setting. The interior design was developed in close response to the architecture by Stafford Architects, ensuring a seamless relationship between inside and out.
With its proximity to the water, north-westerly aspect and open façade, the home is filled with natural light throughout the day. This abundance of light allowed for moments of contrast and retreat within the interiors. A sculptural staircase winds through three levels like a ribbon, anchoring the home and setting the tone for a series of dramatic yet restrained living spaces.
Designed to accommodate both family life and entertaining, the home moves easily between formal and informal settings while retaining a sense of privacy and calm. The result is a residential interior that feels generous, expressive and deeply connected to its harbour-side location.
