Our clients purchased this penthouse in a new residential block prior to completion, giving the design team scope to make major changes to the interior.
High ceilings and a mansard roof shape the interior architecture, creating moments of volume and softness across the living spaces. Timber was used to line the portals, enhancing the sense of transition between rooms and introducing warmth, texture and contrast through the interplay of light and dark finishes. Joinery and material detailing were executed with a high level of precision, giving the interiors a layered and cohesive quality.
Furnishings were selected to sit comfortably within the established design language. Variations in texture, colour, shape and form bring depth and personality to the spaces, resulting in a refined residential interior that feels expressive, welcoming and distinctly personal.
