The brief for this kitchen centred on balance. A refined front kitchen was designed as an elegant focal point, complemented by a concealed back section where everyday life unfolds. Practical, family friendly and seamlessly integrated, the kitchen was conceived as a natural extension of the home’s overall interior design.
Positioned on an axis with the entry and visible from much of the main living level, the kitchen plays a central role in the home. Floor-to-ceiling glazing along the western edge floods the space with light and reflects the water beyond. To temper this intensity, darker, light-absorbing surfaces were introduced, creating depth, contrast and a sense of calm.
